1st Annual TBUMC Family Pool Party, which is sponsored by the Children’s and Youth Ministries, will be held on Sunday, July 11, from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Strasburg Town Pool. There will be lots of fun and games for kids of all ages. (And you don’t have to have kids to attend!) Drinks will be provided by the church. Please bring a snack to share. To ensure we have adequate lifeguard coverage, please sign up in the narthex by Sunday July 4. Friends are welcome – the more the merrier!
Annual Church Picnic will be held at the Woodstock Park Rotary shelter on Sunday, July 25. The meal will begin at 5 p.m., and the shelter will be available at 4 p.m. Bring your family and come early to enjoy the many activities available at the park. All church members and friends are invited to take part in this afternoon of fun, food, and fellowship. Silverware, plates, and cups will be provided.
Senior Youth Group will be going to Hershey Park on July 27. We will leave the church parking lot at 8 a.m. The cost for any additional family/friends is $42; everyone will need to bring money for food. Please contact Sharon Keller (465-5062) by July 2 if you would like to attend.
"High Seas" VBS will begin on Monday, August 9 and run through Friday, August 13, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. We will have a family potluck supper on Friday, August 13, at 5:30 p.m. before VBS activities. On Saturday, August 21, we will participate in the Toms Brook Fireman’s Parade. More details to come. To sign up for VBS, please contact Jenn Wieber at 465-2775 or by email at jwieber@live.com.
